Cabri G2 Type Rating

Course description

Aimed at those pilots licensed PPL (H) or CPL (H) who want to obtain the Cabri G2 Type Rating.

Course Length

The Guimbal Cabri G2 Helicopter Rating Course can last 4 to 6 days depending on the time the student is using and their availability.

Course structure

The following steps must be performed in the order mentioned below, and it is not possible to start the practical phase without having passed the theoretical part.

1. THEORETICAL INSTRUCTION
   The applicant must attend an approved theoretical type rating course that will comprise a minimum of 14 hours.
2. THEORETICAL EXAM
   The applicant must demonstrate his knowledge in a theoretical examination.
3. EXPERIENCE AND ACCREDITATION
   The applicant will have completed a type rating course of at least 5 hours.
4. FLIGHT TEST
   Once approved by the theorists, the applicant will have 6 months to perform the skill test.

Exams

The applicant must demonstrate his knowledge on a theoretical examination and then on a skill test.

Requirements to complete the course

PPL (H) or CPL (H) pilot license and corresponding medical certificate.
