He Guimbal Cabri G2<\/strong> It is a light helicopter with a piston engine, designed and manufactured by the French company H\u00e9licopteres Guimbal<\/a>, founded by aeronautical engineer Bruno Guimbal, former Eurocopter employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He Cabri G2<\/strong> It is a light two-seat helicopter with a three-blade main rotor and a fenestron-type tail rotor. It is equipped with a 180 horsepower (134 kW) Lycoming O-360 engine, downgraded to 145 horsepower (108 kW). It made its first flight on March 31, 2005. Its development was preceded by a prototype called Cabri G1, which flew for the first time in 1992.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It received its type certificate from EASA in December 2007. The first production aircraft was delivered at the end of 2008 to Ixair. Eurocopter also placed an order for two helicopters for basic training, also signing a contract to develop an unmanned helicopter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
