Course Description
He Private helicopter pilot course It provides our students with both the theoretical and practical ability to pilot a helicopter for private and private use.
We instruct our students on all the knowledge required by civil aviation and under the EU regulations for the correct obtaining of the PPL(H) private helicopter pilot license.
Course duration
He Private helicopter pilot course It can last from 4 to 6 months depending on the time spent by the student and their availability.
Course structure
The applicant must complete 106 theoretical hours. During the course the following topics will be studied:
- Air legislation and ATC procedures*
- General knowledge of aircraft
- Performance and Flight Planning
- Human factors and aeronautical medicine*
- Meteorology*
- Principles of flight
- Communications and radiotelephony*
- Navigation*
- Operational Procedures
*The indicated subjects will be validated if the applicant holds a PPL(A).
In the flight phase, the applicant must complete 45 hours* of flight instruction, at a previously agreed time, and the final exam with an authorized examiner. The fleet with which said training will be carried out will be Robinson R22.
*Holders of a PPL(A) or similar pilot license may be credited with a maximum of 6 flight hours.
Exams
The applicant will demonstrate an adequate level of knowledge to pass the following subjects in a period of 12 months:

Requirements to take the course
