Act without remuneration as pilot or co-pilot of any helicopter used in non-revenue flights.
Course description
The Private Helicopter Pilot Course provides our students with both theoretical and practical ability to pilot a helicopter for private and private use.
We instruct our students on all the knowledge required by civil aviation and under the EU regulations & bsp; for obtaining the PPL (H) private pilot license.
Course Length
The Private Helicopter Pilot Course can last from 4 to 6 months depending on the time spent by the student and their availability.
Course Structure
The candidate must complete 106 theoretical hours. During the course the following topics will be studied:
- Aircraft legislation and ATC procedures *
- Aircraft General Knowledge
- Performance and Flight Planning
- Human Factors and Aeronautical Medicine *
- Meteorology *
- Principles of Flight </ li>
- Communications and radiotelephony *
- Navigation *
- Operational Procedures
* The indicated subjects will be validated in case the applicant has a PPL (A).
In the flight phase, the applicant must complete 45 hours * of flight instruction, at a previously agreed time, and the final exam with an authorized examiner. The fleet with which the trainings will be carried out will be Robinson R22.
* A maximum of 6 flight hours can be credited to holders of a PPL (A) or similar pilot license.

The applicant will demonstrate a level of knowledge suitable to overcome the following subjects in a period of 12 months:- Aircraft legislation and ATC procedures *

Requirements for the course
For the Private Helicopter Pilot Course you only need:- Be over 17 years old
